He had been trying to hold on to his reality, but then it was getting a little hard with the way things were. He understood her, but this was just too much for him. He couldn't do this anymore, not like this.

"I know," Elodie sighed as she got up and walked over to the window. Her heart was already shattered and she was trying to make it all make sense. Her mind was wandering and she had questions about how her friends were doing.

She wondered if they were okay or if they were suffering because then that would mean that Mabli had really died. Elodie had so many worries and it was eating her up in ways that she had never thought possible.
