"You talk like we are going to die, Alpha Awuor," Sherry said and Mbali let out a light chuckle. She couldn't believe that even in all of this they could still find a way to laugh and make the situation lighter. 

But this was who they were. A people who did what they had to do no matter what the situation was, and that had made their interactions warm and integrated. 

It didn't matter that they were about to face the worst enemies, what mattered was they would fight until the very end. And if they lost their lives in the process, then they could only hope that their fight hadn't been in vain, right?

"Well, the next time we'll be coming to Greyson will be when we win the great war, and that is a long time in the fruit, Sherry. I am just telling what lies ahead of us. Besides, we are going to go fight just the five of us.
