Bab 26: Social Debut II

When we arrived in front of the grand hall. I saw Kaeden leaning on the wall while a servant was attending him, fixing his suit. When our eyes met, his face rose into a smile, and he walked towards us. I removed my hands off Yustafs' arm then placed them on Kaeden's arm. 

"I knew you'll look gorgeous in this dress," complimented Kaeden. "I personally asked my tailor to design you the most stunning dress that he could."

"You didn't have to go this far," I looked down at my dress. "I feel like it's too extravagant."

"You don't like it?" Kaeden pleaded with his eyes. All the more, I couldn't resist them and shook my head. 

"You misunderstood. I love it," I corrected, and a smile on his face grew back. His hands grew closer to my face, and he slipped his fingers through my hair.
