This meant he didn't hesitate to feed the elixir to Rui Fei mouth to mouth. The touch of Rui Fei's lips felt icy cold like he had just eaten an ice cube. Ji Yao's lips trembled a little when his lips initially brushed against Rui Fei's from the cold but knowing this medicine would help he continued.

With the warm liquid trickling into Rui Fei's mouth and down his throat, he felt a little relieved. Rui Fei would get better soon and he won't be in pain anymore.

What he didn't realise was that the sickly pale skin on Rui Fei's face was swiftly regaining colour. A blush spread from Rui Fei's ears to his cheeks as his face grew hot from this unexpected reward. He clenched his fist in a place Ji Yao couldn't see as he reminded himself not to move.
