Scarlet's POV~~

I stared at Lucas intently without taking my eyes off him even for a second as he stood there looking like he didn't understand anything about what I had just asked him.

“I said, how did you know we were there when the blast happened?” I recounted my question.

“What are you talking about, I thought almost everyone knew about it” he said, still with a blank look on his face.

“Lucas, no one else knows about it except our parents and the cops. Nothing has been announced publicly.” I looked at him dreading what I was beginning to think of. My heart racing after every second that passes by. He stared at me intently before he inhaled deeply.

“I wasn't supposed to say anything to you.”

I gave him a dazed look. “About what?” I quizzed and shrugged my shoulders.

“When you stopped showing up for school for sometime, and avoided most of my calls, I kinda became really close to Amy.”
