Although the stage was set, Layton and Zero were not in a hurry to make any further moves. The dice had been cast, and plans were in motion. Making any further moves would simply increase the chances of their secret manipulations being seen through.

Layton hadn't forgotten that he was not the only person from the void to enter this plane. There were representatives from both the Science Federation and the Martial Civilization lurking in the plane. Although it seemed everyone was focused on their respective plans, it didn't mean there had been no secret manipulation and hindrances in the background. In fact, Layton was very suspicious that Lilith's bizarre disappearance had a lot to do with the manipulation of someone behind the scenes. Now that they had set in motion plans to bring Lilith back, it was entirely probable that the attention of the individual secretly fueling things would be attracted. All Layton had to do was wait.
