Bab 205: Chaos evolving Five Elements

Before the attack struck home the space around Layton seemed to have been strengthened, the spatial laws slightly changed as a sort of crystallized barrier appeared blocking Shi Chen's attack, it only appeared for a moment before it dispersed on its own but the slight delay gave Layton enough time to dive into the further reaches of space, the attack followed breaking through several spatial layers but ultimately unable to reach its intended target.

By the time Layton reappeared some distance away Shi Chen was hot on his heels, pushing his palms that were coated with peculiar grey divinity forward, the space in front of him collapsed, unlike his previous attack this one was more explosive, the crumbling spatial layer caused an avalanche and turbulence ensuring his target could not easily escape into deeper spatial layers as his palm strike furiously charged forward.
