After saying that, she turned around to enter her home and quickly locked the door, for fear that Huo Zihang would barge in. 

For the first time in his life, he had been rebuffed. He stared at the door of Tan Sangsang's home for a long time. 

'This woman has gone overboard. If it were any other woman, she would have wished for me to stay the night at her place.' 

Tan Sangsang observed him for a long time through the peephole. After making sure that Huo Zihang had already left, she finally heaved a sigh of relief and turned around, only to see that her mother and son were standing behind her.
