Bab 2: Chapter 2
I enter Sorshas room and see her sitting on her bed crying. I take my dress off, and walk over to the bed. I sit and hug Sorsha" its ok, im here for you" I whisper. She looks up at me and sniffs, "i hate mother so much, she's always trying to run my life". "What did the wicked bitch of the west do now?" "She wants me to marry Lord Arun's third son". ( Lord Arun is the lord of the vampire town named Numas). I turn to her, " are you talking about that asshole Hilton"?, "he doesnt deserve you!!", i hiss through my teeth. " Alora calm down, your teeth", I turn to look in the mirror and my eyes were red, my teeth extended. Dammit, I almost lost control again, mother says it takes time to control my vampire side, I still have no control. " Sorry sorsh, you know me and my temper". Sorsha smiles, " it's ok, lets get ready your mother will be coming for us soon". I roll my eyes, " she's busy, my father came home". Sorsha smiles, " I can't wait to meet my bloodmate, and in love like your parents." Sorsha and I get ready and get ready to go down, there was a knock on the door. I look at the door, " done already, thought it would take hours" I say laughing. Sorsh looks at me and start laughing, until the door flies open and it's my father, We both stand up, and shut up. " Alora, is that how you talk to your mother"? " No father, I was joking around", as i put my head down. " Alora, you have to remember, you're a lady in waiting now, you have to be quiet, respectful...,"OK FATHER", I moaned, i know I know. "Well I'm here to escort you two down, Laynia is with Lady Cassandra, and will meet us down there". As we walk into the ballroom, and it was absolutely beautiful. Sorsha and I walk over to Lord Cletus and Cassandra, and stand next to them. As I stand there bored out of my mind, I see the most beautiful eyes looking at me. "Sorsha, who is that?". Sorsha looks over, " Oh thats King Titus, King of the Dragons and his two bodyguards, Dez and Jackson". "Bodyguards?, don't make me laugh, they dont look that tough". She laughs, " If anyone ever gets pass jackson, they surely wouldn't get pass dez, I only heard of one person that got past jackson, but no one never gets past dez." " They are Legendaries". " I wonder what kind they are". " I don't know but, anyone that seen, is dead". As I look up, i notice him staring at me smiling, as i turn to talk to sorsha, and there's jerk. " Well, Hello Beautiful", with a big ass dumb grin on his face. " Leave me alone jerk, I don't feel like being bothered". "I just fetched Sorsha and you a drink". He hands me the drinks, and by now sorsha is talking to her father, and cassandra is mingling around the room. I hand sorsha her drink and take a couple of sips of mine. As i look up, I see King Titus, walking over with dez and jackson following. The king stands next to Lord Cletus and My Father. Dez comes and stands over by me. (Dez point of View), When I seen her from across the room, my heart skipped a beat when our eyes met. Her skin, the most perfect color of copper, her red hair is the color of a red rose, and her eyes, the most perfect shade of green. She must be fairey, because she's so beautiful. I felt a pull to go over and talk to her , but i cannot leave my kings side. Then I hear the king say he needs to talk to Lord Cletus, my heart start racing, im really about to go talk to her. I look up and see her staring, so i give her a corky smile. King Titus starts walking as we follow, , I try not to stare but I can't control my excitement, I think im sweating, me sweating, she has an effect on me already. When we arrive I stand next to her, as jackson stands next to Lady Sorsha, right as i was about to say something, I think I heard an angel speak, but it was her voice, then it dawns on me, she's my other half!!
Dez is standing right by me, I turn to him with a smile, " you know if you keep staring, I will think you're a creep",it took him a minute for him to respond" "I can't help that your the most beautiful woman I ever seen", as he smiles. I turn to look at him, and dam he is so hot, His jet black hair, styled so perfectly, his black eyes, geesh, I could get lost in them. I seen his lips moving but I was just staring at them, they look so soft and kissable. His body looks like he's been sculpted by the gods, I was so lost in thought when i hear his voice, " green eyes did you hear me?" "Excuse me", what were you saying"? He looks me in my eyes and smirks, " what's your name green eyes"? " Well I can tell you it's not green eyes, thats for sure". He laughs, his laugh, his adorable laugh, what is he doing to me? I collect myself, im lady in waiting alora, or will in 20 minutes, as I joke. He reaches his hand out to my hand and kisses it" pleasure to meet you, beautiful alora". At that moment, Lord Cletus walks over to the Ceremony Table, and taps his glass.....
Attention ladies and gentlemen, thank you all for coming, first I would like to welcome the king of Vampires, King Morton and King of Dragons, King Titus(everyone applauds). My Daughter Sorsha is of age that she can have her own lady in waiting, now Sorsha and Alora, please come forward.
I make my way up there next to Lord Cletus, and kneel on the white silk pillow and Sorsha kneel on the other side of her father on the red silk pillow. Lord Cletus takes out three old boxes, encrusted in diamonds and rubies. He opens the boxes and takes out a 2 tiaras, an old chalice and a golden dagger. He Then Walks over to sorsha with the dagger and cut her finger, her blood drips into the chalice. Then he walks over to me and does the same thing. He stands over me, "Alora, do you promise to forever be by sorshas side, to serve her to the best of your ability", i look up, " i do" He hands me the chalice, " Drink the blood in the chalice to seal your blood bond". I drink the blood and feels a fuzzy feeling, Now Sorsha and I are bonded by blood. Lord Cleus grab the ruby tiara and places it on soshas head, the he takes the diamond tiara and place it on my head, but as he's placing it on my head, he pushes my hair back from my ears and my birthmark shows for a split second. " I now present Lady Sorsha and Lady in Waiting Alora", the crowds cheers.
After the ceremony Sorsha and I were standing around talking, then dez and jackson walks over. Jackson ask sorsha to dance, she looks at me then I nod its ok for her to leave. "So alora, how old are you", dez asked. "I'll be 17 in 2 months", "and you?" He smirks and says 78, like its a normal age. I look into his black eyes, and it seems they are swirling. " You look good for an old man", Dez just laughs, " You think i look good?". "Your ok I guess, i mean your not ugly", I say sarcastically. Just as he was about to talk, jerk came over, " Alora, your father told me to escort sorsha and you back to your chambers". Dez shoots jerk an irritated look. " I will see you around sweet alora" he says as he kiss my hand, and walks away, i immediately started blushing. Jerk give me an angry look, then walks on the dance floor to get sorsha. He says something to her and walks to the door, she looks at me and signals me to come. As i was walking out i see dez glaring at us leaving out the door. Were walking down the corridor, then jerks start talking, " you're going to be mine alora, i'm going to buy you, and make you my wife." " Why the fuck would i want to marry you jerk!", you're an asshole who thinks about no one but yourself"!. " I think about you, about laying with you, touching your beautiful skin." I stop dead in my tracks and smack the fire out of his face, " listen here you sick motherfucker, I DONT WANT YOU!!, I NEVER DID, AND NEVER WILL!!. Jerk eyes started glowing, he's mad, he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, he opens his eyes and they're normal. 'Alora you should be a little nicer to me, pretty soon you will be wearing my colors." By then sorsha stops walking to see why we stopped walking. "Come on guys, im tired, im ready to go to bed". We reach sorshas room, and i decided to stay there, i wasn't walking by myself with jerk. I help sorsha to bed, then peeks out her door, good, jerks gone. "Sorsha I'm going to leave now, jerk's gone", "ok alora i'll see you in the morning". I walk out rushing to my chamber, as i reach the door, I feel a hand yank me and im pressed against the wall. "I've been waiting on you alora, why must you fight me". He puts his hand over my mouth, i look at his face, jerk!!. I push him off of me, with all my strength, " big mistake asshole", my eyes turn red, my fangs extend, the tips of my hair turn white, and my fingernail extend out. Jerk tries to push me back to the wall and I scratch his face, " you bitch", he tackles me onto the ground and is on top on me holding my hands, he punched my face a few times with his other hand. " I love this foreplay alora, but after tonight you will be mine!" He start kissing my neck, and start grabbing my breast. I start moving trying to wiggle out of his grasp, but couldn't move. His hand start to move up my dress, then i feel a strong gust of wind that pushes jerk off of me. Then i hear a voice, " If you don't get your fucking hands of her!"
