The moment the man said that he lunged forward to hit Mark on the back only to be struck frozen. 

Mark Ruclus quickly got the 2nd man down and turned behind to Camille holding a big piece of boulder that was dripping in blood. When he glanced down he saw the man's eyes rolled back, his body slumped to the ground. His eyes turned to Camille again, this time in shock.

"Shut up." There was nothing but anger and disgust on Camille's face. 

"Did… Did he just say they sacrificed themselves for us?"

"But why? Why would they do that?"

The students who were on the verge of breaking down completely broke down now. Some students had their palms to their faces, and some only had a blank look, as if their brains couldn't take what was happening.
