Bab 682: Dying Wish

The three of them sat right outside the Elder's hospital room.

Inside the room, Bai Hong glanced at his unconscious father. "It seems like Father won't wake up until tomorrow and Qinghao's wedding is tomorrow…"

Ye Yunzhi was also put on the spot. "We've already notified all the guests. It wouldn't be good if we suddenly cancelled the wedding…"

"But Father's illness…" Bai Hong frowned heavily. He then glanced at Bai Qinghao. "Qinghao, what do you think about this?"

The hospital room door was left slightly ajar. Bai Jingrou stood closely to the door in the hallway and appeared as though she was using her phone. In truth, however, she was listening to their conversation.

She thought internally: The Elder is on his deathbed. The Bai family will most likely cancel the wedding.

To her surprise, Bai Qinghao spoke firmly. "The wedding will be held nonetheless!"

"Alright." Bai Hong actually agreed immediately.
