Tina worriedly looked in the direction her mother ran and then glanced at her grandfather Abel once. She knew that she could not sit and enjoy her meals when her mother was suffering alone with no one on her side.
"Grandpa, I will be back in a second. I am sorry... Please enjoy the dinner," Tina said and rushed after her mother, Grace without even waiting for a response from her grandfather, Abel.
"Sigh…" All Grandfather Abel could do was let out a long, deep breath out of sadness.
He then left the house with long strides without eating as he had already lost his appetite. He was heartbroken to see how everyone in his family had turned against one another in a matter of a few weeks.
He walked outside with a hunched back towards grandma Millie's house to meet his angry wife, Kylie. Today he had decided to beg her and even if necessary he would fall on her feet. But, he would definitely make her come back home.
