Bab 99: I think I may faint from hunger

Adrian reached his penthouse in the city along with Mia. He entered the private elevator that would take them directly to his home. He was still carrying Mia in his hands while Otis was in tow behind them.

Just when Otis was about to enter the elevator, Adrian said, "Otis, you can leave for now. I would like to be alone with Mia."

Otis was so used to be with him all the time that he suddenly got struck dumb for a minute. He did not know how he should react for quite some time. The elevator doors almost got closed on him but then it sensed his legs and the doors got opened again.

"It's ok. Let him come along with us. He looks... too confused and it seems like he couldn't come to a quick decision. I guess he must be afraid to leave his Seer alone with a strange woman who suddenly came into your life once again." Mia spoke for the first time after they met.
