Bab 4: Chapter 4
Memories.
They bring happiness.
They make you sad.
They make you cry.
The person who makes the memories are the person who sometimes becomes a memory.
Memories are special that's why we all cherish them.
But I'm erasing the memories who are deeply embedded in my mind. I burned every picture, every letter, every gift that reminds me of Carl.
I didn't leave any trace of him in my home. It's a start for me. Start for us.
I decorated the house with candles and prepared Dalton's favorite dish, Pasta Bolognese.
Before Dalton comes home I've to get everything ready. I haven't set the table yet so I'll do it first before changing.
After decorations, the table looks a lot romantic. It's looking perfect with some candles, rose petals, and some red roses in the vase.
I want to look sexy yet elegant so I wore Dark red Burgundy cut-out velvet dress. It reaches mid-thighs and enhances my figure.
For makeup, I choose to do dark sultry look with brown eye shadow, highlighter, eyeliner, and brown lipstick.
I straighten my hair and wore black ankle strap heels. My look is complete and I look sexy I might say.
The sound of car parking made me run towards the door to welcome my husband.
Dalton opened the door looking all tired. My heart hurts seeing him like this. I feel guilty because I know the reason for most of the stress is me.
He was surprised to see me like this, all dressed up. "Are you going out", he asked curiously.
"Nope, I'm dressed up for you".
He looked at me surprised. I smiled softly at him.
"For me?", he asked so I smiled widely and nodded my head for confirmation.
Tugging his hands I took him towards the table. He looked around and I looked at him. When our eyes met my heart soared. His eyes held an emotion that had me weak on knees. Love. They held so much love. It made my eyes water.
He loves me. With all his heart and how did I repay him? I hurt him at every turn without noticing.
I was too busy to wallow in self-pity to notice my actions are hurting him.
"Dalton", my voice cracked. It is full of emotions and pain for him.
He came close and hugged me. It made the dam broke. I cried hugging him closer.
"I'm sorry.....I'm sorry.....I'm sorry", I repeated the words like a mantra. I wanted to say more but no words came out.
He held me closer to his chest in a protective hold. Telling me it's okay. Kissing my forehead and whispering sweet things in my ear.
When I was out of tear I told him. I told him every word I wanted to say.
"I'm sorry Dalton I-i-I hurt you. I'm sorry. I want to try. I want to love you like you love me. Make me fall in love with you".
When I finished talking, he has tears in his eyes.
"Are you sure?", he asked.
"Yes. You're my best friend and most of all you're my husband. I want to be a wife for you who loves her husband. I want us to grow old together. I want us to have our own family."
He brought his lips down on me. His kiss was sweet yet firm. He licked my lips asking for permission and I granted him.
My hands went in his hair, Pulling it, making him groan.
We pulled apart when we were out of breath. "Let's eat before going to bed", I said still breathless from our kiss.
Once again pecking his lips I fixed food in two plates.
"How is it?", I asked when he took a bite.
"You are a good cook Aly you know it", he grinned. I can't help but give a smile of my own.
After dinner, we washed the plates together. It felt so intimate and I liked the feeling.
When we entered the room my heart started beating faster. Dalton took his time looking around our room. Bed with rose petals. Candles all around the room.
During that time I took out my dress leaving me in a black lace bra and matching panties.
Dalton turned around. His eyes got darker when he took me in. It got darker and darker till it was looking almost black.
It turned me on. Never in my whole life,e I would have believed my best friend will have this effect on my body.
He hadn't touched me yet and I'm already hot and bothered. All from his gaze. He is burning me without even touching.
In two long strides, he walked over to me and crashed his lips on mine.

Dalton brought my legs up and around his waist, slamming me on the wall. I moaned at his roughness.

He sighed. "Who was that?", I asked.
"Dad. He wants us to meet at his house for family dinner. Your parents are coming too".
Quickly putting clothes on we entered his car, going to join this family dinner.
