After I used my Custom Rune Magic to restraint Lavinia who's possessed by some witch named Augusta, I looked at her with a frown.
"Do you have any idea how to sever this parasite from Lavinia?"
I asked Kulshedra-san who's in her black spear form in my hands.
"Hmm.... How about Poison?"
Kulshedra-san replies nonchalantly.
"Poison? Your Poison? You're kidding, right? She'll literally erased from existence! Not only her body but her soul too! Lavinia included!"
I reproaches her with my lips twitches a bit in disbelief.
Her <Poison> was the most dangerous and deathly among all her attributes. Only the <Ouroboros> which more dangerous than that because it could cause natural disasters and calamities which could destroy the planet and it's civilization.
"Then I don't know. Soul-related things are not my forte."
Kulshedra-san said with a shrug, casual tone.
And indeed as the «Disaster Dragon Spirit Queen», spiritual-related ability is not one of her attributes. Her attributes are more elemental-related.
"Me neither...."
I shrugs as well.
I also don't have any abilities related to souls.
The others in my family like Scathach-sama, Sakuya-san, Ost-san, and the recently summoned Yamato-san also didn't have it.
My abilities are mostly related to conceptual or phenomenon with my Custom Rune Magic and my Sacred Gear Serene Summ-
Wait! Serene Summoning!?
Maybe I could try that!
I don't know if there's something able to sever soul or something like that here in this world, and even if it's not exist here, I could try to summon from another world!
"My Master, I know what you're thinking, but you better don't try to do it."
Kulshedra-san cut off my thoughts like a bucket of cold water splashing at me.

I asked with a bit frown.
Why was she against my intention to use my «Serene Summoning»?
Even if just normal summoning unsuccessful, I could try to use the first Balance Breaker, <Cross Overtake Summoning> which enable me to summon tool/unintelligent creature from another world.
"If you're not reluctant to some unknown strangers witnesses your unique ability, then be my guest.... There are some people around here watching this girl. And they'll surely suspicious of you if you even try to place a barrier here to hinder their watch."
Kulshedra-san explained to me her reasons.

And they're watching Lavinia? Or maybe the witch Augusta who's possessing her?
I frowned deeper at that realization.
Then I closed my eyes and uses long sense to try to find where are the people mentioned by Kulshedra-san.

And after a few moments of search, I finally found a few people, about four, no, six to be exact about hundreds meters from my position.
And it seems they're not from the same side because they're in four different positions with two of them individually.
I don't know who they are, but Kulshedra-san was right. It's not a good idea to do a summoning in this situation.
Even though we're not afraid them, it doesn't mean that I'm willing to showcase our most guarded secret, ability to summon things not from this world to other people especially unknown strangers like them.
"Rather than get reckless and hurrying because of concern, why don't you ask someone about the cause of this girl's situation first?"
Kulshedra-san advised me again.
"Makes sense."
I nodded to her and then took out my magic smartphone.
I looked into my contact list and after found the contact I wanted to call, I dial a number.

The phone ringed and after waiting a few moments, it connected.
'Hello? Rey?'
It's a familiar voice sounded from the phone, which is Governor Azazel's voice.
"Yeah, it's me.... Governor, what happened to Lavinia?
I replied to him and directly asked about what I wanted to know.
"You knew already?"
Governor asked with a bit surprised tone.
"Yeah. I felt something's happened to her and I immediately teleport to her position using our connection as contract partners."
"So you've found her?"
"Yeah. She's right in front of me. At least her body. So can you tell me what's the cause of this situation?"
"I see.... Here's what happened...."
Governor Azazel then explains to me how Lavinia and a few youngsters with Sacred Gears including Vali cooperate with people from Kushihashi and Himejima of Five Principal Clans to pursue and clean up remnants of a dubious organization, Utsusemi Agency, and their associates, Wizard of Oz.
And in the middle of that mission, Lavinia who's pursuing the Witch of the East, Augusta, became emotionally unstable after knowing that her mentor and master, Witch of the South, Glynda' actually didn't really care about her and just using her to researching about her Longinus Sacred Gear, «Absolute Demise».... And on that occasion, Augusta saw that as an opportunity and then she uses her black magic to posseses Lavinia and overtake her body and consciousness.
And at the time Lavinia was hijacked, she's not alone but the others who's witnesses that were helpless so they retreats temporarily to get backup.
"I see.... I understand now. Thank you, Governor. I'll close the call."
"Huh? Wait!"
Governor Azazel's voice urgently came through when I was about to press the close call button.
"Hm? What is it?"
I asked a bit puzzled because I don't think that there's another else needed to talks.
"Rey, can you... just let her go?"
Governor Azazel said with a clear hesitant and reluctant tone.

I blinked surprised with what Governor Azazel just asked me to.
"Wait. What? Are you kidding me!? That's not funny, Governor! I'm sure you know about my contract with Lavinia! It's precisely to anticipate and handle it if something like this happens to her!
I said with a bit higher tone because I lost my head a bit.
Because of the recently incidents where many magicians lost contact which presumably dead or goes rogue, and based on what happened from the explanation from Governor Azazel about the situation which caused Lavinia to become possessed by Augusta, it seems the two organizations mentioned earlier were the root of those incidents. And Lavinia assigned to Tokyo by Mephisto-jiisama was to investigate and find out about them.
And one of my Devil-Witch Contract type with Lavinia was for [Protection]. But he asked me to just stay down and let that parasite witch possess Lavinia further? You've gotta be joking!
"I know, Rey. I know for sure! But please! It's important! I want those kids save Lavinia themselves! I want this occasion to become their turning point to make them more mature!"
Governor said with a tone eagerly trying to convince me.
But I frowned deeper instead.
"That's it? Just for something like that you want to bet with Lavinia's well-being!? You're crazy!"
I rebuked him.
After all, I already captured her now. So if after this I freed her and the leech Augusta whose possessing her do something else to Lavinia to anticipate if I try to capture her again, who will responsible?
And moreover, she can just directly escape with teleportation or something as soon as I freed her. I don't think she's foolish enough to choose to stay here and fight me after I easily captured her.
"I know. I know that! But please, Rey. They're good seeds including Vali! And they're Lavinia's friends too from her time since she's here a few months ago! I said with a bit low and cold tone.

Governor Azazel tries to convince me again. But I pressed the close call button before he even finish his sentence.
"It's not a wrong decision no matter from whose perspectives."
Kulshedra-san said calmly.
"I know."
I said shortly.
Indeed no matter myself or Governor Azazel, no one's wrong.
He wanted his students able to breakthrough and improved further, while myself just wanted to fulfill my contract with Lavinia as her protector.
"Haahh~...."
I sighed deeply to calm myself and then I put my magicphone to my pocket.
Then I lifted my head to look at the restrained witch.
"Now.... So you hijacked Lavinia's body and consciousness with black magic, right?"
I asked the Augusta who possesses Lavinia with a bit smiling.
"...."
Of course she couldn't respond because of my restraint, but at least I could see her frowned in displeasure.
"Kulshedra-san, you can do it, right?"
I asked Kulshedra-san and she knows what I thought because of our connection.
"Kukuku.... Are you underestimating me, My Master?"
Kulshedra-san chuckled and answered playfully with a tone as if what I asked her was just as easy as flipping hand.
"Good then.... Gauntlet-mode."
I asked Kulshedra-san to change to her black gauntlet form.
And as soon as that, the black spear in my hands glowing in black light then split into two. Then the two black light enveloped my forearms and then faded showing a pair of black gauntlet worn on my forearms.
"....!?"
Possessed Lavinia's eyes widened slightly after looking at my weapon's transformation.
"Ever heard that Dragons have Anti-Magic property?"
I asked her again with a smirk.
"....!!!???"
The witch's eyes widened further realizing what will I do.
"Exactly."
Yes. Anti-Magic.
After hearing that the old witch Augusta could hijack Lavinia because she's using black magic, I felt a bit of relief. Because it means that if it's magic, then Kulshedra-san's Anti-Magic property should be able to neutralize it.
"And my partner here... is the strongest."
I said to the witch and then put my armored right hand to center of above Lavinia's chest.
Then, the black gauntlet began to glow with an black light and crackling with power.
This wasn't just any regular anti-magic of course. Because of Kulshedra-san's status as the strongest Dragon, it was also the force that could erase curses, banish hexes, and nullify any enchantment. No matter what kind and how powerful, as long as its based from magic, then it could be neutralized.
And this time, I was focusing it straight at the black magic that had ensnared Lavinia's soul.
"....!!!!!!!"
Because of the restraint, she couldn't do anything outwardly. But her face clearly looks distorted and filled with panic as the strongest Anti-Magic activated.
Augusta who's still within Lavinia's psyche realm, surely started to struggle to fight and defend as the force of the Anti-Magic pressed against her dark spells.
But I press further.
"Begone!"
I exclaimed and then the Anti-Magic force as if became a shockwave.
*bang!*
Lavinia's body was jolted because the Anti-Magic also shattered my restraint runes I put on her.
And as soon as that also with an agonized scream, a dark shadow was blown out of Lavinia's body.
"Bastard!"
The shadow exclaimed hatefully.
And then she quickly teleport away before I could respond to capture her again unfortunately.
Lavinia who's in unconscious state soon collapsed. But I caught her and leaned her gently to me as she breathed shallowly. Her body was limp but at least now she's free.
The snowfall around us which caused by her «Absolute Demise» also soon stopped falling. The unnatural cold also soon dissipating.
"It's done."
Kulshedra-san said softly.
"Yeah… it's done."
I nodded slightly while still holding Lavinia close.
And as I looked at her peaceful, faintly smiling face, it feels like she knew that she's been saved and on the right arms.
