After that tense conversation with Christian, I went home and changed into a fresh set of clothes before sprinting out the door without saying anything to anyone. Christian attempted to contact me several times, but he eventually gave up after several missed phone calls. When I arrived at Praise's house, she was ecstatic to finally see me after a long time. It was refreshing that she didn't press me for information; instead, she reassured me and put me at ease.
