Bab 8: Magical Practice (II)

No matter how heartless you were, you would be preoccupied if a five year old kid stumbled out of the woods, however, that was not the case of the stranger who approached Caleb with the idea of killing him in order to eliminate witnesses of his discovery. What he didn't know was that this kid had the same idea.
He put up a preoccupied face and asked:
"Are you alright kid? Are you hurt?"
He then kneeled down to maintain his act and so that the kid would be closer to the hidden dagger in his clothes.
"No sir, but you are"
As these words left Caleb's mouth, he looked up with an icy look and slashed his magic blade after putting magical power into it. The runes on the blade flashed black and the blade was surrounded with a deadly aura. When the blade penetrated the body of the stranger no blood came out, instead, shadow energy was injected into the man and fear flashed in his eyes before suffering a silent death.
The body withered and became a mummy-like corpse. Caleb then proceeded to put some nearby leaves over it and hide it until the morning. He then took his precious bow and climbed the stairs of the tree arriving at the familiar flat and empty area.
He flung the two fish they had been carrying until now on the table and put the bow there again. He then sat crossed legged on the floor and closed his eyes.
۶What are we doing? Aren't we supposed to be practicing magic?۶
๑We are. We are meditating in order to connect with the elements sigils๑
۶Oh I see, I should probably do that too۶
๑Yes you should. Now shush, I am trying to concentrate here๑
۶Yeah yeah sorry, but what do I do?۶
๑Ugh okay, I assume clear your mind and feel the magic around you like we usually do but this time focus on it and perhaps we will be able to see the sigils๑

A few hours had passed when a sudden cry of joy echoed through the empty treetop.
"I've got it! Oh yeah, oh yeah, I'm so OP"
Theo's trance was broken and even Ace and Trevor's sleep was broken by the sudden noise and the movement of their body.
◇What the hell do you have? Stupidity?◇
◯Hey be nice, but yeah, what's up?◯

◇Okay what the actual f*ck is going on here? How is he the first one?◇
۶We started meditating a few hours ago and I got bored so I started experimenting with the tree's energy and then I saw the nature's sigil۶

◇That's it?! No mystical stuff? JUst two triangles?◇
۶Yup, it is weird, it is very easy۶
๑If they're all shapes then I guess this is going to be easy๑
۶Oh and by the way, we killed a guy before meditating۶

๑We'll talk about that in the morning, you guys go back to sleep๑
◇Oh you don't have to tell me twice◇
After they went back to sleep, Ty and Theo kept practicing until the sun started to rise and the smell of morning filled the air.

From the spiritual realm Nya watched as the tree she had left the small five year old Caleb was changing during the night. They had managed to find the nature's sigil and Ty was experimenting as the rest were either asleep or meditating.
She found some of the statues very odd and some even disturbing but there were a few that were truly beautiful. It was no surprise they came from another world but seeing the proof with her own eyes was somewhat distressing. To know there existed such powerful individuals in other worlds and now in her own was not the best feeling. She was not afraid, just lost in thought.
That is, until a huge green, blue, red and golden quetzal approached her. It was as tall as a twenty story building and gave off an incredible magical aura. Whenever she flapped her wings, the air crackled with electricity. Anyone but the present ones would have either been burnt to a crisp or crushed due to the immense pressure she put on the atmosphere of this spiritual world.
The good thing was that in the spiritual world, everything was made out of pure magic so the beings residing here did not even bat an eye at the overwhelming presence of the creature above.
"They are indeed powerful old friend, are you sure we should not kill them?"
The thunderbird spoke with a soft feminine voice, they knew each other since the beginning of the world itself, after all they were all Primordials. The first magical beings of this world.
"I am sure they will be of great help once the time comes" -Nya's voice echoed throughout the land. As the nature primordial she could also control everything in the spiritual plane.
They had plans for the future that now could be carried on as they had the most powerful being on the planet by their side, or so they thought.

The empty space was not filled with statues of all sizes and shapes, a two story house, a nature's magical sigil altar, what looked like a set of weights made of wood and some calisthenics equipment like pull up bars.
The house was a replica of a modern house with even a sauna but all made out of wood, even the huge flat TV. The statues were of a huge goldfish, some Greek gods, a replica of the David, an unknown bulky figure with long hair tied back in a man bun, a strong defined jawline, well defined eyebrows and a perfect nose, he was very handsome. The figure had some familiarity to it, they had seen it somewhere very recently. It turned out to be a statue of Ty's last body. They had seen it a lot of times in the memories but seeing his body in real life before them was a shock to say the least. They had been super busy since they arrived and they really didn't have the time to mourn their own deaths.
