"Ludo not smart." Ludo admitted. "Boy watch this. Careful watch. This flower. This..." Ludo snipped it off close to the ground. "This weed."
[Dandelion. Paltry Flower. One serving.]
I stuffed it into my mouth when Ludo wasn't looking. "We leave flowers and cut the weeds?" I asked.
Ludo plopped the rusted shears into my hand. Honestly, if I'd had any Metal mana in my aura...
<System. Mana Conversion. Earth to Metal. Confirm Start.>
[Conversion begun, 76 percent chance of success.]
"Ludo." I said, placing the tip of the shears on a sprouting daisy. "Flower or weed?"
"Hm." Ludo said, bending over to examine it. "Ludo ask countess. Leave for now. Cut all weeds there, Ludo cut all weeds here."

Saw the eclipse; a lot slower than in supernatural horror media, but worth the wait. Nature is wonderful, and I am not.
Thank you always for your readership and support. It means more to me than food. When I was in the worst part of curled up and wishing to die, I wanted to write this chapter more than eat. I know better, and waited to actually start eating again to write, but I wanted to do it in reverse order.
