Bab 97: [CHAPTER NINETY]

Rose and Madam Eugene talk and Madam Eugene beg Rose for forgiveness. Rose feels proud of what her mother did for the orphanage.

NINETY

I entered the car and closed the door behind me, a sigh left my lips as I put on my seatbelt.

"Hey, you cool? You look drained" Andrew asked as he started the car.

"Just a little tired, no biggie" I shrugged it off and looked out the window.

As we drove back to the mansion in silence. Madam Eugene asked.

"Uh? Rosaline, you must be hungry, should we stop by a restaurant?"

"I'm fine," I mumbled without looking back.

"You haven't eaten lunch, let's just get a-"

"I said I'm fine" I hissed.

"Okay," she said silently.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Andrew staring at me weirdly. He must be wondering how I could dare to speak with Madam Eugene in that tone but that was the least of my concerns.

I just need to spend some time alone.
