Bab 71: Epilogue

Weeks had gone by and there was still no change since Astrid's body had been dug up. But the soul had no intention of giving up. With a few more treatments, it was likely possible she would awaken any day now.

She covered Astrid's liquid covered body before leaving the room. Making her way into the kitchen she grabbed a glass of water. It wasn't until a few seconds when she heard a groaning sound.

Setting her glass of water down she quickly ran back into the room where Astrid was residing. From afar it nothing looked out of place. But as she walked closer she could see Astrid's eyes were open.

She had finally awakened again.

Cohen's POV

"Let the cooks know of the menu, there are still a few hours left before she arrives home". With that he watched the skittish man leave. Today Sloane would be coming home after he had sent a later to her demanding she returns.
