Bab 168: Chapter 168: Outpacing the Quick-witted

Several recognizable fiery explosions erupted far ahead into the north as Hayama rushed towards his students' aid. Even if he instantly dashed the moment he realized Pan broke free of Minerva's spell earlier, he noticed that the enemy had gone farther ahead than expected.

The ongoing skirmish between Seijurou and the shadowy warlord was already nearing the campsite.

While in the middle of hurriedly running to help his students, Hayama activated his "console command" and made an outgoing call.

As the multiple bright orange lights lit up the forest indiscriminately nearby, Shizune's attention was suddenly caught by the blaring of her ringtone. She quickly answered the incoming call the instant she realized that their teacher was trying to contact her.

"Takenori, can you hear me? Put me on loudspeaker," the first years' class adviser's baritone voice boomed throughout the campsite in between his fatigued breathing. "Is everyone safe?"
