Bab 95: Night-Time Endeavours

Emma blinked. 

Lily stuttered at her words, "A..psychopath?" 

"She's your sister, isn't that too harsh?" Emma asked. 

"Say that to the tens of hundreds of babysitters or nannies she drove away while she was still a child," Connor muttered audibly. 

Emma's jaw dropped. 

"What did you just say?" Emma asked in a state of shock. 

Lily asked, dismayed, "What did she do that was so psychopathic, wasn't she some kind of perfect child?"

James explained, "In front of our parents, us and the people she favors, yes." 

Connor continued, "But in front of the others, she can be a real...piece of work." 

"Don't scare them further, let them see for themselves," James joked, earning a hard nudge in the ribs from Emma. 

He coughed. 

"Besides, Carina will most likely favor them , Connor, so I don't think there's anything to worry about," James reasoned before bragging.
