Bab 83: What Did I Do To Deserve Someone Like You, My Love?

"What did I do to deserve someone like you, my love?" He asked. 

Emma raised her brow. 

He couldn't be any more wrong, it was her who didn't deserve him. 

"What made you say that?" She asked curiously. 

James looked at Emma as if she was the saddest thing in the world. 

He was tearing up, which was infrequent of him. 

He wanted to tell her the truth, all the strings that'd be attached if she stayed by his side. 

"Emma, I've been unfair to you," James said as he held her hands. 

"What I'm bringing you into, what you're going to face here, it's going to be because you're my girlfriend," James explained. 

Emma didn't seem fazed, her eyes showing off her fierce determination.

"That's not going to stop me; I can certainly face it, James, for you I'd do anything," Emma answered. 

She too knew that she'd have her share of difficulties that came with having a soon-to-be king as a boyfriend.
