Bab 88: Apologies

At six AM on the dot, the alarm clock Histoire sat up before she fell asleep chimed soundly and almost too quietly, but she was a light sleeper and the moment the sound filled the air her eyes opened wide in a second. Deus had a tendency of disappearing very early in the mornings, rarely saying goodbye. But it was not like he was heading far away the last times he had left in the mornings. He was this time though, and she would hate to have him leave without a final word with her. It was asking for too much considering she had not been considerate enough to do the same, but it was not too late to start.
