Bab 87: Accepting The Blue

The blue seeped into my muscles, bones, and blood. It crawled inside with winding slimy tentacles and nestled itself in my refinery. From the second it entered my spiritual reservoir where my refined qi waited to process into my foundry, I expected a rejection. Every crack of the whip forced more into me and with it came whispers. Without a voice it spoke, and I could do nothing but listen. After they chained me to the dais, I expected a violent reaction in my cultivation base. There were so many different auras within me. One of them was deeply opposed to the blue. 

        Upon the dais after the patriarch declared I'd learn their ways, whatever that entailed, the reaction came. The auras within me rose from my foundry. From across my spiritual sea, they spanned the distance to meet the blue.
