Bab 86: Trial

The crack of a whip scorched my back and forced me a step forward. Chains covered me from head to toe. They didn't stop at the cuffs. Aura disruptive chains lined my every limb and a collar clung to my neck. They removed my sword by my shoulder harness and took my ring. Only my encryption protected my stuff from their perusal.

        With my every step another crack of a whip from behind scorched my back. The mermaid with nose rings swam beside me. She still hadn't given her name. 

        "This is for your own good. Land Dwellers are tainted by the forbidden auras. To purify you we must baptize you in the blue. What we're giving you is a kindness." Another crack of the whip lit up my back. Blue aura bit deep into ever wound.
