CHAPTER 244

Shocked by his speed and the hug he pulled her into, Jade tried to shake him off but Xander refused to let go, burying his face close to her neck. 

"Please. Do not go, I got scared earlier on when Jenny called me. I was scared of losing you, please. I know I may seem irrational but I am in love with you, Jade. I am so scared of losing you."

He was being irrational. It was going to take more than that to hurt her. She was born and brought up in the mafia world. Danger had been her best friend and she had played with it every day of her life, so why now was he being like this.

"Just please. Don't struggle. You are hurting me."

He pulled away after some time when she relaxed into the hug and let him do that which he wanted.

Looking at her eyes but still holding her close, Xander lowered his head, bringing his lips close to hers for a kiss and just when their lips were to touch, Jade turned her head to the side.
