Bab 1879: Oculus Magus

"ARGHH!!! You!! You dare!! You are helping the elves!" The dark magus's furious accusation reverberated through the chamber, his voice seething with anger and indignation.

Emery's response was a slight, sardonic smile that danced upon his lips. "Ahh, don't be a crybaby; your arm will grow back in a minute... But if you don't tell me what's going on," he continued, his voice dripping with threat, "I will cut more parts." He raised his gleaming blade menacingly, the glint of danger unmistakable in his eyes.

The tension in the room hung palpably in the air as Emery's demand for answers intensified. 

In response to Emery's actions, the other members of the Oculus faction magus reacted swiftly. They began to encircle him, forming a tight-knit defensive perimeter. Their intent was becoming increasingly evident, and Emery remained vigilant, wary of their every move.
