Dear Dairy

Today is my graduation day.

A day of celebration.

But I feel anything but happy.

Today I must stand in front of all my peers, in front of all the parents and family that have come from far away, and smile like I am happy.

Like I am not the girl that they all whisper about.

Like I am not Jolie.

It's been two days since Derek and I sat side by side talking while smoking. I didn't tell him everything, he already guessed I was not only seeing Steven in my sleep but in my everyday reality.

He didn't judge when I confirmed his suspicion, didn't tell some bullshit lies about how I will eventually get passed it and it will one day be better, all he did, was take my joint, smoke the end of it, stand up, offer me his hand, and walk me out of the house.
