All while the battle was going on, Ludo from Jack's squad, was casually on the ground fast asleep.

Vanellope turned around, frowning. "Ludo. Why are you sleeping at a time like this?"

"I'm getting my precious rest. I can not fight beautifully with dark circles under my eyes, now can I?"

"You're such a lazy slob. I still don't understand why Jack chose you as his right hand man."

Ludo held up three fingers. "Well I'm stronger than you, richer than you, and frankly, I'm prettier too. Do I need to go on?"

Vanellope scowled. Her violet aura flared from her body. "You incompetent—!"

Jack appeared behind her and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Vanellope. Try not to fight amongst yourselves. Now isn't the time."

"But— Master, he's sleeping!"

"I'm aware."

"You're not going to say anything about this?!"
