Bab 290: Invitation

"Why do I feel like you are keeping me away from Simons all of the sudden? Something happened?" Serene questionably looked at Soham.

"You are thinking too much." Saying that he didn't try to continue the topic.

Serene was caressing his hair, as Soham was breathing through her scent to his calmness. After talking to Harry about Serene's past all his calmness and kindness had flown away. Now having her by his side, things look bearable more.

"You think I am not ready?" Serene softly asked.

"They are not worthy Serene." He repeated his words again. These words were not just from him, but also from Harry and sometime before from Serene too.

"But they are making you feel angrier than ever, I saw you ever before." "Forget this. Let's go back home and rest."

Saying that he stood up to leave, however, those calls came again. Seeing the same number Soham's eyes darkened.
