Bab 30: Chapter 30

"What time do your parents get in?" Courtney asked Jake as she placed a white table cloth over a small round glass table by Grams' garden. The two of them had been at it all morning, preparing for their friends' birthday party.

Jake stood from where he was setting up a platform and wiped his sweaty brow with his forearm. He checked his watch. "Their plane should be coming in at Ben Epps in Athens in a couple hours." He knelt back down and used his power drill to put the last screw in place for the makeshift stage. He flopped down on the grass and stretched his long legs out in front of him.

She decided she needed a break from the humidity as well and lay down on her side next to where he sat, propping her head in her hand. "It was nice of them to come in for the party."
