It went without saying much that the next couple of days Arthur was busy dealing with that green fire. He kept consuming it while his forces out there were killing the elites all the time.

Gradually things became clearer to everyone; the enemy just wanted to tangle their forces there and weigh them down without putting a proper fight against them.

It was obvious now what they aimed for. If they didn't want to hit through the seven places they invaded, then they were, at least, preparing one big portal to be the main breakthrough.

Arthur thought about this. If he was the enemy, where was the most painful place to hit this empire and cause a lot of problems in it?

At this point, Arthur was sure his enemies weren't oblivious about what his empire was doing during the past two years. He wouldn't remove the possibility of them sending off spies when he accepted a large number of people during his last steps of invasion.
