Bab 75: Chapter 74 Rise Again
"Marcello, the first room is clear," Damien told him,
Marcello looked behind him and saw Damien walking out of the room with his mean behind him, he observed every one of them, looking for that familiar fog. but nothing happened,
He walks towards the next room while singling them to follow, he stops by the door pecking through the window, finding nothing.
"Its safe," Marcello said
He opened the door for them and they went into the room, watching each other backs, Damien scanned the room looking for any differences, but nothing he saw, however, a fog slipped away from them heading toward Luke's office,
"Nothing there," Damien says
Marcello was uncertain. He felt uncertain. However, they proceeded to the next room doing the same, but it was Luke's office. Marcello walks up to the door, not before telling his team,
"This is where the shadow was last seen,"
"Be cautious," He continued
He opened the door making the way for his team, however, he was troubled of what would happen if he had no choice, They started their search in the room, Marcello stopped Damien and told him,
"Stay behind and watch,"
Marcello walked into the room, striving past his team, until he stopped at Luke's desk with someone already looking through it,
"I will look through it," Marcello said
The person looked up at Marcello and stood up, glaring at him. Marcello stares at them and feels like there's something wrong with them. They didn't back away from him, only looked at him with a glint in their eyes,
"It's fine sir I could look over it,"
Their voice was rough, but Marcello heard another voice softly in their voice.
"I don't believe that's your decision," Marcello told it
They laughed at Marcello with the people in the room now watching them, Damien looked at one of them who was lifting their weapon, but Damien raised his hand for them to see, stopping them for now. Marcello steps up to it,
"I would sagest to stand down," Marcello stated
"Why would I do that... I have what I need now," It giggled
It lifts the vile of Blake's blood.
"Do you know what I'm going to do with this?" It asked
"I have my suspicions you destructive shadow but why do you want to have him back?"
It giggled at them while observing the room, the people around it shook at its gaze and the puppet it was controlling trying to fight him, It looked back at Marcello,
"I don't want to bring him back… he's already here," It spoke
The shadow pulled the pistol out of the man's side, lifting it up to Marcello,
Marcello placed his hand on the weapon while Damien held his gun aiming at the shadow,
"He just needs more time before he can take what mine," It uttered
"What's yours?" Marcello inquired
"Yes, what's mine,"
Blake's voice went through them and the shadow shot at him, Marcello ducked from the bullet while his men shot at the shadow,
"Hold your fire!" Damien yelled
However, it is too late. The shadow laughed at them while the body slumped down and the shadow flowed out of the person, a fog went around the room. Marcello stood up and tried to look around, but the shadow blocked his view. There was a voice that yelled out, but one of them scared him.
"I currently possess only one goal, which is to acquire what should have been mine. This peace that she put in place will be lost. I'm done waiting for it, Tell the light to burn out, it's time it's done."
The shadow went past them, pushing past Damien, Marcello scanned the room. His men all fell, some of them not moving. Damien got up and grabbed his phone, telling headquarters.
"Damien to headquarters," He spoke
He ran over to Marcello checking on him,
"Marcello?"
Marcello looked at him and said, "I'm fine. Get the emergency team in here and get the injured to the medics,"
He moves past him to his men and then checks them, while Damien gets a response from headquarters, "What has happened Damien,"
Salvatore's voice came over the phone,
"The shadow took over one of our men," Damien explained
He starts to help Marcello,
"I've told Jacob they will be there shortly," Salvatore told him,
They went around helping their men before Jacob entered with his team aiding them, however, they didn't notice a darkness lingering. Listening to Damien talking with Salvatore.
"What did it want with my son's blood?" He asked
"It said that Blake is alive, but I'm not certain that it's true," Damien said
Salvatore sighed. He wanted to hear that his son was alive but didn't want that darkness to have him again. Damien moved aside for the medics and then went out of the room, the shadow followed.
"Why would he want Blake to be alive?" Salvatore asked
"I don't know Sal... but it has the vile of blood still," Damien said
"Did it say anything else?" Salvatore inquired
"It told Marcello that it wanted what was his. What that means, I don't know," Damien spoke
"However, it talked about a light and my concern would be for Avalon," He continued
"What does it want with her?" Salvatore asked
"For the light which might be her to burn out and what peace she made will be lost," Damien said
Salvatore went quiet until Damien asked, "How is she?"
"She is better now that she calmed down," Salvatore told him
The shadow chuckled at this, thinking. "Blake will love to hear his beloved to be alive,"
The shadow twirled in the air before flying in the air, leaving Damien watching as it escaped,
The shadow circled the forest, soaring past a sea of clover, and finally arrived in front of an ancient castle. It swiftly approached, opening a door and closing it shut, encircling the castle. The shadow then proceeded to the master bedroom door.,
The shadow shifts over to the bed and scans over a body resting in the bed, it flew over to a nearby desk then grabs a needle off of the desk, it shifts over to the body,
"This should help you,"
The needle puffed the blood into the needle and closed the lid, pushing it into the arm of the body and pressing down to have the blood move through it. It placed the needle away while waiting for a clue, the body twitched as it did so. A red light forms around the body in glyphs. The body twitches violently, thrashing in its spot while the light grew making the room brighter, until it stopped the body fell back on the bed and the glyphs went away,
"It seems to work," The shadow mutters
It went over to the body and was about to check it, but the body bolted out of it spot,
"Blake?" The shadow inquired
He looked over at the shadow, noticing he was not in the same place. he's not on the roof of his building, What has happened?
"Shadow, what has happened?" Blake demand
His voice is profound. His body ached while his eyes burns from being opened, Blake watched the shadow move towards him while explaining,
"My master you have been in a coma since you fought that witch," The shadow seethed
Blake glares at it,
"Don't call her that shadow. She is formidable..." Blake stopped
He looked down at his arms and saw his veins glowing, he looked back at it, asking,
"What did you do?"
The shadow stifles a giggle,
"You see master the fight you had with her made you unconscious," It said
Blake tried to move off the bed however he almost fell, but the shadow caught him, Blake felt the weight of his body be lifted away from him as the shadow continued to explain,
"That power she welds knocked both of you out for two years,"
It set Blake back on the bed, but Blake had something on his mind,
"My mafia... what happened to it?" He asked
"Do you truly want to know my master?" It inquired
"Yes now tell me what happened!" Blake yelled
Blake now knew that something had gone horribly wrong while the shadow was stunned but this, his voice, made the castle shake. His eyes and vines glowed,
"His power seemed to grow while asleep," It thought
"It was a fight at first, but Shepard stopped them, dismantling what you have helped grow." It told him,
Blake glares up at him, "And what of it now?" Blake asked
"It has tried to build itself," The shadow said
It wraps around Blake while saying, "But it's leaderless having no heads to go back on, but their loyal member stays with it no matter where they go,"
"They still have no head after I was gone?" Blake muttered
"You had killed them master and might I say, I had a fine lunch," It stated
Blake scoffed at it and then looked at his sound, he scanned over, having a familiarity with this place,
"This was where they wanted you to be... Blake this is where you will rain," The shadow dwelled
"Explain to me why this is familiar," Blake demanded
"You find out soon enough Blake, Why don't you take around and find the answers yourself," It answered,
"I have tried what would..." He stopped
He stood up from the bed to have feeling in his legs,
"Now you do," It scoffed
Blake huffed at the shadow before walking slowly to the door, he looked at the details of the door, it was carved with Celtic knots, he looked away preceding out of the room into the hallway, Blake walked through and saw spiders crawling around but the shadow draws his attention away,
"Go into the dining hall, you will understand afterward,"
Blake walks out of the hallway into the entrance of the castle, The shadow huffs at him and says, "Go down the next hallway and enter the door with a description, that where the dining hall is,"
Blake wandered down the hall, thinking all the while, "What mockery has this shadow done now,"
He drew closer to the door, and he felt a burn in his veins, which must have been from the fight.
"What did that woman do to me?"
It burned more as he stopped at the door. He glares at the door, however, the door seems familiar to him. Blake looked over the door, unsure of what the shadow had told him, but the shadow moved away from him, opening the door for him,
"Why have you brought me here!" Blake snarled
Blake stares intently into the dining hall with a resolute expression of resentment. He remember the pain he felt and the resentment he had for this place, the shadow moved away from him while explaing,
"This is where you will rebuild what was ou... yours master,"
"Why here is what i want to know shadow," Blake told it,
The shadow moves into the dinning room with Blake slowly following behind him, he glanced arounf the room fidning it to be that same as he found it, only with dust on it and spider finding out the new home.
"This was the only choice I had master," It lied to him
"I had there irer if I didn't bring you here," It whispered
it went past the table to a curated, Blake walked around the table and looked at the shadow having a memory come back to him.
"I mean no harm, my son, I just want to help with..."
He walked to the curtain while the shadow loomed over him.
"If you are my ancestors, then why didn't you come to me sooner?" He continued
He looked at the shadow,
"If you are my ancestors, then why didn't you come to me sooner?" He continued
He felt discomfort in his chest when the shadow opened the curtains,
"Blake… please talk,"
"Leave,"
Blake looked at where she would have been finding an old price of wood laying a small table, he walked to it took hold of it, and felt a power in it.
"She wanted you to have it, "

I walked past my men and now stood in front of the woman, she looked down at me with a tired smile.
"An old darkness moves through this land," she told me
"It knows of you, Alexander"
I looked at her in wonder, "How does she know that name?" I thought
"It wants you dead,"
She glanced back at my men before telling us.
"There will be another good to help you on your task,"
"Who will that be?"
She grins at me before saying, "Me of course,"
