Silence fell in the atmosphere for a minute before his mother spoke again. "Your dad and I are not getting along anymore, so this is the best I can do for you." She tapped her son on the shoulder. "Just come with me, okay?" 

There are things that only adults can understand and feel, and no matter what the youngsters did, they will never get it. As a child, they have to follow their parents' decision because they believed that it was for the best of them.
