Desmond's mind swirled with confusion as he stared at the peculiar note, his eyebrows furrowing. Meanwhile, the battle between the ogre and the mercenaries had reached its climax.

*Thud.*

In a mere fifteen minutes, the ferocious clash had come to an end, leaving the ogre's hulking form drenched in its own gory carnage. Blood sprayed from its chest, staining the once-vibrant green ground, while deep gashes marred its lower body. Swords jutted out from its eyes and chest, evidence of the merciless assault it had endured.

The ogre's massive hands, now covered in dirt and blood, clenched into fists upon the cracked earth. Its bloodshot eyes smoldered with a lethal mix of rage and murderous intent as they bore into the remaining humans. Kneeling before them, it emanated an aura of primal defiance.
