Bab 66: Triumvirate who was punished

"You shouldn't have come out you know." Momo turned and nudged Gabby's arm when they were quite far from class, "I can do it alone, you don't need to accompany me."

"Are you stupid or what?" Gabby asked, frowning.

"Hmm, we are friends. Besides, my mother doesn't care if my grades are bad. The important thing is I never skipped school." Momo answered.

"Momo…" Gabby's eyes filled with tears. Her heart was moved because this stupid girl was her friend. A friend she'd just known but already wanted to defend her.

Seeing Gabby's teary eyes made Momo laugh. She turned around and hugged her friend's shoulder. The girl felt Gabby put her head on her shoulder.

"You're my only friend, that's why I have to defend you." Momo smiled and then teased Gabby, "If I already had other friends, maybe I would abandon you."

"Well..." Gabby laughed loudly. She raised her head, "Then I hope that I'm your only friend until we get old."
