Bab 44: Not Jake

BIANCA'S POV

I hurried into the hospital room.

My dad is here for real. 

He sat on the bed, his back leaned on a pillow.

I hurried to him and hugged him really tight as he chuckled.

I miss him so much.

"Why did you have to go away for so long?", I asked.

" I never thought I was going to come back", he said and I pulled out of his hold.

"What?!", I exclaimed and he chuckled.

" Where did you come from anyway?", I asked looking at his face and he scoffed.

Some parts were swollen, he had bruises too. I took my hand to his face and he winced.

"What did they do to you now?", I worriedly asked.

"It doesn't matter now, I am here", he said and I smiled.

" Papa", I heard a voice call.

I knew that voice.

I looked around and saw Jose run towards my dad. 

I scoffed and got off the bed.

My dad heartily picked the boy up and they did their secret handshake or something.
