After lunch, Gina immediately invited her father to talk privately in her room, Gina felt that her room was the safest place to talk right now.

"Daddy's kidding right?"

"This is just a joke, isn't it?"

"Answer me, Daddy. Please."

For the first time in ten months Gina spoke loudly to her father, who had just spoken about the agreement her grandfather had made with Marius del Cano, Massimo's grandfather.

Julian looked at his daughter who was standing in front of him with a look full of regret. "I'm sorry, honey. All these agreements were made long before Daddy could understand the harshness of this world, Daddy really can't do anything. Especially now that the paper of agreement is not in our family's hands."

Seeing Gina fall, Julian plans to help her get up, but the movement of Gina's hand stops her from continuing.
