Bab 1321: Something Amiss

Min Yu had already scooped some porridge into a bowl when he looked up and caught the young woman frowning. He raised his brow. "Shall I feed you the porridge?"

Huo Yao promptly extended her hand and took the bowl from him. She picked up the spoon and proceeded to eat.

Min Yu shook his head gently and sat down beside her.

When she was almost done eating, Min Yu finally said, "Oh yes!. You received a call from your grandmother yesterday."

Huo Yao's hand paused briefly before she ate the last mouthful of porridge and asked Min Yu. "What did you tell her?"

"I told her you were busy working on your research project and that you would call back when you were free." Min Yu handed her a piece of tissue.

Huo Yao took the tissue, wiped her mouth, and nodded. "Okay. Hand me the phone so I can call her back."

"Okay." Min Yu stood up and retrieved her phone from the bedside table.
