Elma's POV:

Anthony held my hand. "You want to leave the country?"

I nodded. "Let's get married, and we could leave together for our honeymoon."

I scoffed. "What makes you think I want to get married to you? The day at the court, I had said no, but you said yes; now the divorce is done."

"Then let's start over."

"Starting over means dating and not getting married.

"Are we not a little too old for dating?" He asked, and my eyes widened in shock. If he was old, then not me.

"If you are looking for a wife, then go somewhere else." I scoffed and turned to leave again when he blocked my path.

"Okay, Elma Tyler, I love you to the moon. Will you please do me the favor of being my wife...I mean girlfriend?"

I chuckled and extended my hand. "Can I please have your car key? While wooing a girl, you need to please her."

"How about you spend the night?"
