Sarah's POV:
I checked the time, and it was already 8 p.m., but Jacob still wasn't back. I turned to walk to my bedroom when Mrs. Tyler called out my name.
"Where are you going?" she asked.
"I want to sleep; I am going to the bedroom," I answered, and she smacked her lips.
"You are not supposed to sleep here; you are now married, remember?"
Well, my husband had forgotten about me, so why should I go to him?
"I will go tomorrow."
"No, you will go now."
"I am tired; let me go tomorrow, and besides, Jacob isn't here." I frowned at her when Mr. Tyler approached us.
"The driver will take you home; he is waiting outside."
Were they so desperate to send me away? Whatever "Amber," I called and scanned the sitting room for her.
"Amber"
"She is asleep," Mrs. Tyler said. When did she go to sleep?
"I will go wake her up, and we will leave."
"No, let her be here for the weekend, please."
