 Luci's slap stopped everything. Evan backed away and let go of her arm. "Again! You slapped me just because I hugged you. Argh!" he groaned.

Luci didn't move, standing still, staring at him. He was about to say something when she took a step back.

 "Friends are your closest enemies. You should understand that." She devoured the food again excitedly. She sounded casual and serious at the same time.

 While rubbing his hot cheeks Evan snorted. "What are you talking about?" He was grumbling at this point. 'Even though soon I can kiss her lips. Argh, it turns out that she has built a large and sturdy defense and wall. I have to change my strategy so I can still kiss her,' Evan whispered in his heart non-stop.
