Evan really couldn't take any of this easily. "How about we tell the truth? I mean what if we said we just met?" Evan counted carefully using his long fingers, to make sure he didn't forget about the important point.

 "On the highway! When you almost bumped into me and I kissed your lips for the first time. What if we said that was the only time we met?" Evan suggested again, felt amazing and brilliant. 'I know I am!'

 Luci was silent for a moment. Lots of imperfect plot holes and loopholes will interfere with their mission process if they say that on the highway it is the time they first met, even though it's true. But then she thought about it carefully. 

"But how are you going to explain us getting closer? You weren't going to say that we were in a contract in the first place right?" Luci said in a very skeptical tone. Expressing her opinion wasn't easy, moreover if someone she had to discuss with was Evan, the dominant one in almost all of the matters.
