Bab 419: Crown Prince's Coronation

Just as most had predicted, the Emperor had appointed the Fifth Prince, Qin Zhi Cheng as the new Crown Prince.

Although some of the ministers were not too happy with the Fifth Prince, they had no other choice but to accept this result. 

With a lot of ministers who were punished along with the princes who were planning to rebel, there were not a lot of ministers who were strong or brave enough to challenge the Emperor's authority in the court.

The coronation ceremony was held a month after the appointment.

The ceremony was grand and colorful.

Qin Zhi Cheng entered the ancestral hall to complete the ceremony before he finally see the Emperor.

With the officials' guidance, Qin Zhi Cheng followed every step and protocol required. Soon, he was standing in front of the Emperor.

The Emperor helped him to remove his crown and exchanged it for a new one. This was the crown that would show his new identity as the Crown Prince of Lantian.
