Bab 199: Feelings of the heart - Part 2

"I am waiting, Samantha," Alastair remarked as he gave her a mysterious smile, one which Samantha could not decipher. His eyes were now dancing with mirth, and a myriad of emotions passed through them, making her lose herself in his clear amber eyes. It was beyond anything she had ever seen, and anything she would ever see.

Alastair's eyes held the entire world, and this entire world revolved around her, only her. Her alone. The enigmatic orbs were shining brighter than the sun as they waited for her response hopefully. 

On not getting any reply from the girl in his embrace, Alastair pulled her close until their breaths mingled with each other. He did not even miss the way Samatha's heart was pounding wildly, and his smile only widened in delight.
