Even Beatrice who knew about the spell had her eyes widened. Death spells and reverse protection spells were some of the most powerful spells any witch could ever cast and she herself was not that formidable to cast either of them. To think that Gwen had attempted the death spell and even survived the effects of a reverse protection spell, Beatrice sure was impressed by her ability.

Only if the girl had used her powers well and wisely, she could have become the greatest witch of all times. However, her foolishness and mad thirst for revenge led to her losing all her powers. The girl who could have reached the peak had now become evil and useless after her reckless actions.
