Bab 293: The Birthday Dance

Emily opened the door and her gaze met with a pair of dark brown orbs as a young girl hurriedly bowed her head in greeting. "Ms. Alessandro, Master is waiting for you. Please allow me to be your escort."

She seemed to be in her late teens with freckles decorating her cheeks. Her dark hair was styled in a loose braid and she was wearing a simple yellow evening dress.

"Have we met before? You seem kind of familiar but I can't recall correctly." Emily asked the girl as she took another step closer to take another look.

The girl seemed surprised as she looked up to face Emily. "This is the first time I have seen you in real life. Maybe it was someone else?"

Emily nodded her head in understanding as she gave the girl a warm smile. Returning inside the room to take a look at herself in the full-length mirror she asked, "How am I looking?"
