Bab 223: Precious Possession

"Let's... bet on... this!" 

Kaiden watched with a dumbfounded expression on his face as his girlfriend took out his black card and placed it on the table, bringing all the limelight to it.

All the people present around the table stared at the card and then turned to look at each other in surprise before turning their gazes towards the drunk girl who had been betting huge amounts of money ever since she entered the Inn nearly an hour ago.

"Miss... are you sure... about this...? Sir, why don't you reconsider?" The Innkeeper could not stop himself from voicing out his thoughts as he looked at Kaiden with pitiful eyes.

But he was not the only one who had been feeling pitiful towards Kaiden. Almost everyone present in the Inn was having the same thoughts as they watched the drunk girl spending the man's money as if it meant nothing.
