Bab 199: Arrival with No Airport

"So this is your mind…" Adrien sighed, looking around them. He looked down to see Spiky hugging his legs and looking up at him in a scrutinizing manner. "Who is this?" 

"Uh…" Ashe's face turned beet red and a couple of tears fell from her eyes. Adrien was alarmed and he held her shoulder. "Azu, you okay?" 

Ashe nodded. "No, it's just that you being here is so awfully personal-" 

"I can leave if you want! But this hedgehog told me to stay so…"

"I want you here," Ashe corrected, "It's just that…" she tried to shake off the feeling. She never knew she would trust someone this much, also letting him inside her mind and showing it all out so raw. "This is Spiky, a conjured creature I had made up in my head." 

Adrien raised his eyebrows, before his face softened and smiled. He didn't want to make her more uncomfortable than she already was. He bent down and stroked Spiky's head. "Nice to meet you too, Spiky."
